Terms of Service

1. Service

DIB Compliance Desk sells editable documentation templates and related download access. A purchase includes files and the license described on the License page only. It does not include consulting, review of completed documents, legal advice, a compliance assessment, certification, or support for the buyer's compliance work.

2. Buyer responsibility

You are solely responsible for the information you enter, the way you use the templates, and the accuracy of any representation you make to the Government, including any SPRS submission. At checkout, you must affirm: “I understand these are editable templates, that they do not constitute a compliance assessment or certification, and that I am solely responsible for the accuracy of anything I certify or submit to the Government.

3. No professional services

We are not an assessor, Registered Provider Organization, C3PAO, or law firm. We do not interpret regulations or contract clauses, determine scope, estimate scores, verify controls, or advise whether an organization is compliant.

4. Disclaimer of warranties

The templates and download access are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, noninfringement, and fitness for any assessment, certification, contractual, or regulatory purpose.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or related to the service will not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.

6. License and acceptable use

Your use of purchased files is governed by the License page. You may not resell, redistribute, publish, or repackage blank templates as a competing product.

7. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where DIB Compliance Desk is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, the parties will make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days. Any action must be brought in a court with jurisdiction where DIB Compliance Desk is organized, unless applicable law requires another forum.

8. Standards currency

The current document framework references NIST SP 800-171 Rev. 2. Verify the revision your contract obligates. Requirements and program timelines are under active review.
